Pretty much balls. I do a lot of work late at night which is my prime gaming time, and RPGs require bigger chunks of time than I usually have these days. I still have ol’ Franzi’s saves and I’ll get back to him eventually. Most likely I’ll finish the whole game first, and then come back and continue the posts.
Working nights is really slowing Franzibald’s quest. And what’s more, I’m going on holidays so I won’t be playing any DA for another month or so. The best thing for Ferelden right now would be a prolonged period of unemployment on my part.
Looks like Franzy’s saga will be progressing even slower than a Phantom comic for a while. Maybe I should subcontract an associate Franzibald, and I’ll just supply the snarky comments.
Seriously, if you’re an RPG fan, try to never get a good job. It’s just not a tenable combination.
Unfortunately, Allistair didn’t come out of that fight in great shape. But it certainly wasn’t all bad news.
The best thing about the new hat is that it makes Allistair look like a comic sidekick.
Franzibald has found a new hat for Allistair.
…He was up to his neck in badly animated sprites. Maybe representing the horrors of war? Or just.. the horrors of glitchy game design? I don’t really know what happened here. Franzibald doesn’t know either. He has been eating a lot of what appear to be known as “deep mushrooms”, so maybe that explains it. I like the way he is superimposed as low-resolution chaos wheels around him. It looks like a cheap alt rock video from the early 80s.
I’m open to interpretations on what’s going on here. It might even be that he’s still tripping from the double-dose of taint he chugged earlier.
Franzibald takes some time out from his action packed schedule of beacon lighting, to survey the Helm’s Deep extras reunion party epic battle taking place below. Unfortunately he either strayed a little too close to the edge or took a projectile in the head because pretty soon…
